Right when you walk up on this Navion you notice the well designed body lines of the Mercedes chassis and Winnebago has done a fantastic job of designing a coach beautiful house body that looks right at home on the Mercedes frame. The Navion is powered by a 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine that generates 188 HP with 325 foot pounds of torque. This RV is rated to tow up to 5000 pounds. The Navion has a 5 speed automatic transmission. This smaller class C offers plenty of punch and power, gets better fuel economy than conventional gas powered engines and is extremely quiet while driving down the road.
The Mercedes Sprinter chassis is an easy to drive unit, very nimble, great forward visibility with all controls right at your fingertips. Another great safety feature of the Mercedes is Adaptive ESP technology. This technology works with the engine and transmission to detect when the vehicle is moving in a different direction, the system reacts immediately, without needing additional driver input. At this point, the system will help "steer" the vehicle back on course by controlling engine power and the vehicle's braking system. This is a great RV to own if your not comfortable driving larger vehicles, the Mercedes van offers one of the easiest driving RVs on the road today.
The inside of the Navion is just as impressive. Take a good look at all the pictures and watch the video. This RV offers a bright contemporary design, LED lighting, quality leather seating and the Murphy's bed make this RV the perfect getaway RV for any couple or family with small children. The kitchen area has an ample supply of cabinet room, plus a pantry to the right of the fridge. Two burner stove, microwave/convection oven, solid cabinet tops and a dual stainless steel kitchen sink.
The bathroom is located in the very rear of the coach and is accessible while traveling with the slide out in. The shower is quite large and is very well lit. Plus you are going to really appreciate the on demand continuous hot water supply that the 2019 Navion 24D comes standard with. Go ahead, take that long hot shower!
